Holiday Hoopers
is a basketball skills camp for boys and girls ages 5-14. This 3-day camp will be conducted by former NCAA Division I coaches Paul Johnson and Mike LaPlante along with current and former college players and local high school and middle school coaches. The focus of Holiday Hoopers basketball camp will be to teach the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and rebounding as well as individual and team competition. Each Hooper will receive a t-shirt, basketball, lunch, and quality instruction from coaches with over 50 years of college coaching experience.| EVENT DATES | December 21-23, 2011 |

Each player must complete a Registration/Parental Consent form.
Coach Paul Johnson is a former college basketball coach with over 25 years of experience. He has recruited the entire U.S. as well as internationally for 20+ years. During his coaching career, he has been a part of over 700 games and coached over 30 All-conference players and 18 professional players. Noted as a player development coach, Coach Johnson always enjoys developing young talent into potential professionals.
Coach Mike LaPlante most recently was the Head Basketball Coach at Jacksonville State University and currently writes for ESPN.com recruiting and is the Publisher of The Coach's Connection Scouting service. Coach LaPlante has over 20 years of coaching at the highest Division I level. Known for his extensive work with developing Auburn University into a National Contender during his time as an assistant coach, LaPlante is a great clinician and has worked with over 30 All-conference and professional athletes.
